A Broken Headlight
The deputy sheriff brought his squad car into the local mechanic for some routine maintenance and to fix the car’s broken headlight on the passenger side. The light had simply stopped working, and it wasn’t because of a broken or dead bulb. The officer thought that the repair would be fairly standard, so he expected to have his car fixed and be back on the road in no time.
