The Stigma
Pitbulls have notoriously bad reputations because of their huge heads and stocky builds. Many believe they are much more hostile than they actually are. The pair were familiar with the stigma attached to these dogs. They were aware of these dogs’ real nature. They had previously rescued many Pitbulls as a result.
The couple rarely observed any traits in their dogs that would support their unfavorable reputation. It all depends on how the animal was handled, just like with any other breed. Chris and Marissa were about to learn something new about Pitbulls, thanks to Story, though.
