Nobody Likes Tap Water There
I visited Germany one summer. Their tap water was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted but the locals did not drink it and even referred to it as toilet water. Also, the village’s elders were gloomy and unpleasant, never smiling or responding when you said hi or good afternoon.
But when you asked a question like how to get to a museum, they would tell you which is the fastest route to get there, what’s the nicer route to take and why that museum actually isn’t any good, and what museums to go to.
