Big Birds
A few months ago, as we drove through Spain, we stopped to look at the huge bird nests found on high-power electrical towers by the side of the road. They were much larger than any eagle’s nest I’d seen, and there were a lot of them.
Then we noticed these enormous birds in them! We pulled over to the side of the road and attempted to capture some photos (unfortunately, we didn’t have a good zoom lens). But no one else seemed to notice. It was strange. Where I grew up, we were used to at least a few people stopping to observe the hawks, eagles, or other birds.
