This trick photograph from 1888 shows Richard Mansfield posing as both Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from the popular horror story by Robert Louis Stevenson. Mr. Hyde’s sinister form has been superimposed onto the picture by exposing the photograph twice. Consider this an early example of a cosplay photoshoot.
