Something’s Coming
Every Monday morning, Robert and Angie would go out to the local cafe for breakfast with Brian. It had been Brian who encouraged the couple to move to Ashland in the first place, but after having spent a year there, he gave them some worrying news. Brian explained that as a member of the neighborhood watch, he knew all the ins and outs of the town, and there had been a concerning rise in the number of burglaries and home invasions in the surrounding neighborhoods. It hadn’t yet affected Oakshire Crescent, but Brian thought this would soon change.
