Without even leaving the spot he was standing in, Robert managed to convince these so-called tough-guy criminals that he was not to be messed with. “You call those weapons? Nah, I’ve seen worse,” he muttered to himself, much to the disappointment and anger of the masked men. The attitude of these criminals awoke something in Robert that he hadn’t experienced in years. It wasn’t fear, and it wasn’t quite anger—more like an innate sense of defensiveness. He wasn’t about to let these petty thieves ruin everything he had built for him and his wife over the past year.
