I was stalling the whole time, so that you wouldn’t be able to get away. It was just unfortunate that you fell right into the traps I set,” he continued, triumphantly. “Well, boys, I told you not to mess with a Vet, didn’t I?” Robert said with a smile. The two intruders were gobsmacked and speechless. Robert thanked the officers for their help and waved as the men were taken away in the back of the car.
