Robert’s Goals
Robert, like many boys in Portland, had big dreams and was full of ambition. Even in high school, he knew he didn’t want a regular job or to go to college. Instead, he chose a different path – he joined the U.S. military. It was a serious decision, but his older brother Michael had done the same thing four years earlier, so it was seen as a good choice in their family. Little did Robert know how much this decision would impact his life.
