John had no idea just how impactful including the media in this issue would be. People across the country were infuriated to find out that John was receiving no police help or legal action. Using the power of social media, brought a ton of pressure down upon local authorities and law enforcement. There was no other option but to revisit the case. With more time on their hands—and more eyes on their every move—the police found much more evidence against the squatters and agreed to take action.
