A Worsening Situation
A huge Sperm Whale became trapped as a result of what began with a whale swimming too near to the shore. The animal was barely capable of moving as it lay there and made a pitiful sight.
Understandably, the spectacle of it drew immediate attention. Numerous rescue workers arrived on the site quickly, and the race began.
