Suspicions
Mike had his suspicions of what was happening to his daughter. He just wished he could have gotten the truth out of her without having to go to such terrible lengths to find out for himself.
He knew what he was doing wasn’t the most legal thing, but he didn’t plan on getting caught by anyone. If his wife found out what he was doing before he found any evidence, then he would have been condemned.
