The Cabinet
Jack grabbed ahold of his mallet and began caving in the parts of the kitchen they didn’t need. He worked hard as he redid the tiles, the cupboards, counters, and the island.
But there was a broken antique mahogany cabinet standing firmly against the kitchen wall. It was one of the items that made Jack and Melissa fall in love with the place. Jack would never be able to destroy it, they adored it. Jack wiped at his sweaty forehead before dragging it away from the wall to figure out how he could fix it. But then he discovered what was hiding behind it.
