What Was It?
He managed to move the old cabinet out of the way, but then he noticed something in its place. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the circular notch on the floor. There was a handle on it.
He couldn’t believe his eyes. It looked like a massive plug built into the floorboards. But why on earth was it there? He stepped forward, pulling hard on the plug to reveal something that had been hidden there for a very long time.
