Now that all the vents had been checked, it was time to clear them. It was just a matter of unscrewing them all and checking what was inside.
The first room he entered was the main bedroom. After unscrewing it, he shone his flashlight inside. As far as he could tell, nothing was unusual. As he walked through all the other rooms, he noticed there wasn’t one in the living room.
He wondered where the smell came from.
