A Threat
The note read: “If this EVER happens again and you don’t do your lawn properly from now on, there will be consequences… and it will be worse next time.” Shenna was furious. As if the note wasn’t bad enough, the mess of leaves and dirt on her porch were a clear sign that someone truly hated Shenna’s actions and wanted her to be scared. Why would someone do this? She wondered who would do something like this for a second, but she knew exactly who it was. Her new neighbors always kept to themselves unless they wanted to complain about their neighbors to Shenna and it only made sense that they would continue their complaining when it came to her own actions. And just like that, Shenna marched over to Alice and Louis’ house. They weren’t getting away with this.
