Special Day
Scott and his wife were looking forward to throwing their precious daughter a small birthday party. They didn’t make too much money, but they knew they still had it in their power to make her special day worthwhile, so they set out to do just that. They worked together to fill their backyard with balloons and decorations and to set up a bounce house for the children to play on. For the most part, things went off without a hitch and the children and their parents in attendance had a great day in the yard, enjoying each other’s company. They never would have guessed that there was a problem. Evie’s special day would turn out to be the worst day of her life. Her parents wanted the day to be memorable, and it would be, but for all the wrong reasons.
