He pressed play and said, “It’s not my dog. It’s yours. I recorded him since you miss out on what dogs do.” The mustached man stood on the porch with a gawking stare. He seemed in disbelief that someone would go so far to prove to him that his dog was a menace on the neighborhood. For good measure, Dave added, “I’m just playing the radio at normal allowable city time and I will do this every day.” That alone made the neighbor more stunned than anything else. Wasn’t it obvious that if he was depriving his neighbors of a good night’s rest that they could do the same to him? Maybe the thought had never crossed his mind, but it was certainly the only thing on Dave’s mind in recent days. The neighbor stomped off in a rage. But would Dave’s plan work?
