Yes, Finally Quiet
It was utterly blissful. For the first time since the family moved in, they could finally rest. All they could hear was the chirping of crickets and the occasional car driving by. There wasn’t even a tiny growl. The twins slept soundly for the first time in weeks and his wife didn’t look like she was going to pick up a baseball bat and handle things her own way. Even though Dave certainly deserved a full night of sleep, he couldn’t help but stay up admiring his wife and kids. He was so happy that there was finally peace in his new home and that their new life in this neighborhood was finally beginning on a good note. But a thought creeped into his mind before he got some sleep himself that told him that there was just one more thing to do.
