Paying Tribute
Richard Branson, a Virgin Islands millionaire, was in charge of coordinating the squad. Fabien Cousteau, the grandson of the guy who first discovered the Great Blue Hole, was also present.
Fabien was inspired not only by scientific curiosity but also by a sense that reaching the Blue Hole’s depths and returning with new discoveries would be the finest tribute he could offer to his grandfather. But he hadn’t anticipated the agony that would accompany achieving his aim.
