A Time-Sensitive Situation
When Claire told the doctor what was going on with her new baby over the phone, he told her to rush the child to the hospital. The situation was potentially very dangerous and he had to see her daughter in person to know what was really going on. The baby’s father, David, grabbed the girl and put her in the car before Claire could even hang up the phone.
