They noticed that Smoochie’s puppies had gone missing. They looked all over but couldn’t find it and eventually asked their neighbors to help with the search. Despite the extra help, the puppy was still missing.
The Grants were devasted and grew even more worried when they realized Smoochie hadn’t even noticed her missing pup. It was unnatural for a dog to be indifferent, but that wasn’t all that became concerning.
