Smoochie
The Grant’s adopted a black Cocker Spaniel a little while after Miss Kitty had lost her litter. They named her Smoochie and hoped Miss Kitty would tolerate her and the two would get along.
They didn’t become best buds as they had hoped, but they coexisted peacefully. They would give each other space and mind their own business. However, the peace was sure to end.
