Something Odd
The dogs slept outside in comfy kennels with soft blankets inside them. This meant they could guard the property and roam as they saw fit. But this also meant they’d revisit the spot from earlier that day.
The next morning, Liam came downstairs to the kitchen to put on the kettle for coffee. But he’d see a curious sight just outside of the glass sliding door that led to the kennels. The dogs’ muzzles and paws were stained with mud, and Rex seemed to have something shiny.
