The couple shares their love for animals, and in an interview Mariesa admitted that before Chris, her past relationships didn’t work because she had to choose between her partners and her love for dogs. She chose to leave, and finally found someone as passionate about dogs as her. Meeting Chris meant she’d get to share that love with him, and their affection for animals grew stronger. So, years later, they ended up housing fifteen dogs!
