Karim, now Gladys’ foster dog, was once a stray. It was obvious that he would be quite content to spend time outdoors. The family and the cemetery workers were aware of this, and so chose not to worry any more. The dog was permitted to stay in the room with his master. Even his own relatives would bring him food.
