Gaining the Dog’s Trust
James decides to try to win the puppy’s trust. That wouldn’t be easy. He has two options: either take his time to get the dog comfortable and get him off his mat, or lift him up and disturb the dog in doing so. He doesn’t want to traumatize the puppy and decides to take it easy.
