Dog Won’t Leave Church Then Pastor Follows Him

After sneaking into the church he was finally seen. The pastor wanted him to leave, but he couldn’t. He was too adamant.

He would sit by the aisles during the service, almost in a solemn prayer. What was he doing? Soon everyone knew about the dog and the pastor.

The Pastor

Pastor Gregory Malroy loved nothing more than giving sermons in his church – Santa Maria Assunta. He had been doing this for more than ten years and had seen people from all walks of life.

Everyone in town could tell you that Malroy was like a saint, he gave so much to the community and never asked anything in return. He really was a holy man.

Small Town

San Donaci was the kind of town where everyone was close. So stories and rumors spread quickly. Especially ones concerning the church.

When the pooch first got into Pastor Malroy’s church, he tried to lead him outside. The dog was not budging. Needing to start the sermon, he let the dog be. People smiled at the canine but this was no laughing matter.

Winning The Church Over

The dog wouldn’t misbehave while at the church. He just sat motionless like in a silent prayer. It was an anomaly. He would just look at the aisles.

He was silent the entire service and never behaved badly, churchgoers even decided to give him pats. Malroy did too. “You’re not so bad, ay!”, The old pastor said, smiling at him. So when the dog came back to his service day after day, Pastor Malroy was happy to see him. But then he saw it.

Constant Staring

He didn’t pay much attention but then he noticed the canine would return to the exact same place in the church every day, he was curious what the dog was doing.

But standing at the altar, behind the dog, he couldn’t get a good look at what the canine was up to, so he decided to check the camera footage.

What Pastor Malroy would find would give him a new appreciation for the canine.
