Dave had no idea that he would be suspected by the police and taken in for questioning. The police wanted to know where the German Shepherd came from and Dave was the only one who knew anything about the situation. He tried to hide his surprise as the police surrounded him. In the corner of his eye, he could see a white tent being put around the storm drain.
