This photo taken in 1943 shows a young Jewish boy with his hands. up The fear in his eyes was evident as he surrendered to the Nazi forces in a neighborhood in Warsaw. Although the resistance movement had put up a good fight, they were unable to defeat the Nazi’s impressive arsenal.
