Long before Target and Walmart came into the picture, there was a one-stop store called Kmart where customers could buy clothing, makeup, sporting goods and even food at a decent price. But they really attracted even more business into their stores when they promoted their blue light specials. This gave shoppers an hour to look for specific items that were on sale.
