Ask for Upgrades
Try getting an accommodation upgrade by arriving at the hotel early in the day when rooms are being prepped. If your room isn’t vacant yet, you might get an upgrade if you nicely suggest that the hotel might want to upgrade you to a bigger room free of charge. There’s no harm in trying.
