His Real Mother
My great-grandfather was a married Methodist Pastor with his own children. He knocked up a parishioner and then eventually went on to legally adopt this single mother’s “illegitimate” child and then sent the mother away so she wouldn’t be part of my grandfather’s life.
He grew up thinking he was adopted and not knowing who his real mother was. I don’t know the details, but eventually, he must have found out.
