As the weight of the past settled in, Clara had a sudden recollection. “Dad,” she began, “I remember coming across a box of old letters when we were cleaning the attic last summer.”
Leonard looked up, curiosity evident in his eyes. “They were addressed to you, and some were from Daniel. Maybe they hold answers?”
