Yep, maybe once a month or sometimes longer. The same went for washing their clothes. If they had only one or two sets, men and women would sleep in the same day clothes.
If the water wasn’t clean enough or clothes too dirty, blue dye would be added (which is linked to blue denim). As for bed sheets? Forget about it…
