Every Room Held a Mountain of Things
The piles of things in Ruth’s home varied from room to room, but each and every room was filled to the brim with stuff. There were books and newspapers piled high in the living room, clothes and bedsheets strewn about in the bedroom and piles and piles of unopened boxes in every hallway.
