Is it a pack of savage hounds?
Animals were either wild or had never been tamed. The sewer, however, was located smack in the midst of the city, far from any nearby forests or mountains. There wasn’t much logic to it even if it was a wild animal. Did the animal go lost before giving birth? What did it have to escape? Just what were they up against, exactly? At this stage, there was just no way to tell.
