Final Judgment
The creature had large, flappy ears and a lengthy, black coat of fur. After wondering what on earth they were up against, the crew finally got a good giggle out of the situation. It turned out to be a dog wriggling on the sheet like a little infant. Just a run-of-the-mill whiney puppy. Based on their examination of its physical characteristics, the researchers concluded that it could be no other species. Because of their newfound knowledge, they felt confident caring for the remainder of the infants.
