Those responsible for the seeming abandonment of these animals did not succeed very well. Thankfully, the good Samaritan had heard the infants and responded quickly. The group celebrated their success in rescuing the infants and providing them with greater opportunities than they would have had before. This was not what they thought would happen, however. Over the course of the day, more and more pups joined them on the blanket.
