This one’s a keeper
The firemen had been working for many years, but this was the first time something like this had happened. Usually, it was easy to tell what kind of breed an animal was, and they were never incorrect! None of them had any experience with kits to know that they resembled little pups. No one involved in the incident will ever forget it; not only did they all gain valuable knowledge, but it also made for a great tale. Once back at the station, the crew would fill in their coworkers on the whole ordeal.
