As he released the trigger, the contraption surged to life. The junk flew through the air with immense speed, right over the fence, and landed back in their yard. An echoing thud and crash sounded as they collided with the children.
The children, having been playing outside, screamed in horror as the garbage covered and hit them. Jeremy found their expressions of shock and terror amusing from where he stood.
