Jeremy stared at the woman for a moment. He couldn’t believe she had the audacity to confront him after he had tried talking to her about the issue weeks ago. Maybe she didn’t remember?
Either way, he didn’t give her any excuses. But he did have the perfect response. He had hoped she’d come banging on his door just so he could give her some justice.
