Jeremy’s lips curved into a smile as he said, “That doesn’t sound like me. I would never do anything like that,” he said, parroting what she had said about her kids when they were the ones throwing the garbage.
It seemed that she was fully aware of the fact and bit her lip in frustration. But Jeremy was about to send her packing.
