Charles was careful to massage the area as he cut the bowel lining. His goal was to get whatever was blocking the bowel opening but was startled when an influx of waste began to seep out from the cut he had made. It was clear that the clogged feces was spilling out from the new opening to ease the tension in the tigers bowels.
