Laura peeked into the dark shed as her heart began to race. She couldn’t even see her cat anymore as the darkness swallowed him whole. She called for him, but he didn’t come. Laura knew she was taking a risk. Her mom would freak out if she saw that she was down there. She wasn’t allowed in the shed.
She unlocked her phone and flashed it around inside the shed. She had to act fast before her mom could find out. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins and she began to panic when she saw the box. What could be inside of it? She felt like a little kid, scared of the monsters in her closet. She approached the box as the uneasy feeling in her stomach got worse.
