What’s That Sound
Only an hour and a half later, Ginny’s sleep was disturbed by a strange noise. She heard some twigs break and immediately sat up in the hammock. There wasn’t much left of the fire, so she saw almost nothing. It was dark and the trees felt heavy and menacing. She grabbed her flashlight, only to find out she forgot to replace the batteries.
