An Odd Feeling
John smiled, thankful for his recognition from his boss, but he just couldn’t stop feeling like something was wrong. Unease tainted the morning, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that his joy would soon be replaced by sorrow. He tried to stay positive, but the sense that something bad was about to happen lingered.
