Together At Last
Ivanka contacted the primatologists who put together a guided safari for her. Although Koko now lived deep within the Gabonese jungle with other gorillas, Ivanka was still excited to see her. Along the way, she was warned by the guide not to leave the vehicle.
He explained that wild gorillas were extremely territorial. Finally, after a long drive through the jungle, they reached Koko’s family. In her excitement at seeing Koko again, Ivanka ran forward to greet her.
