Approximately 12 years passed and Ivanka never forgot her childhood companion. The pair had grown up together and Ivanka almost thought of her as a sister of sorts.
In her head, Ivanka planned and built up the idea of a reunion as a magical moment where Koko would instantly recognize her and come running into her arms. Instead, it turned out to be a nightmarish encounter.
