Although Ray already knew the answer he was likely to get, he hoped that his granddaughter would want to spend time with him in his final days. Ray knew it was a big responsibility to care for him, but maybe Macey would want to care for him as he had cared for her over the years. Sadly, Macey did not surprise him with her response.
